After graduating from DSVV Haridwar with a Bachelors in Computer Science, Balram Keshari was very interested in building his understanding about social change through education. During college, he did a social internship in Asansol (West Bengal) where he conducted a workshop for school students and also worked for rehabilitation of victims of the flood disaster in Kedarnath. Born and raised in Rewa (Madhya Pradesh) in a business family, Balram grew up with rich cultural and social values he imbibed from his family. As a Gandhi Fellow, Balram improved the assessment standards in several government schools across Ratangarh (Rajasthan) and his enthusiasm and strong work ethic was an inspiration for many colleagues. He is very passionate about understanding how technology can be leveraged to improve the elementary education sector.
Currently, He is working as Sr. Project Executive and involved in Google Internet saathi project at DEF.
