Due to lack of opportunities and limited skills, most of the working-class people struggle to provide a decent livelihood for their families. While working as street vendors, construction site labours, coolies, and other such jobs, they are paid minimal wages.

With the vision of enhancing employability and to develop requisite skills Digital Empowerment Foundation along with CII and lndia@75 Foundation joined hands in explicating digital and functional literacy to economically weaker sections (EWS) living in urban areas, aspiring and upskilling the working class. This project is aimed to raise life skills and employability of the targeted population towards better work. The target of the program is to reach 2000 beneficiaries who belong to neo-literates, semi-literates and economically weaker section working population above 14 years of age.
