The day started as we all gathered at the historic spot of School of Democracy, known as the birthplace of RTI. A humble prayer conducted by Sri Lal Singh ji marked the beginning of the Capacity Building Workshop, Bhim. Sri Lal Singh ji is an eminent MKSS activist and takes care of the administration of School for Democracy. After he shared the general rules for staying at the campus, together we took oath by speaking out the constitution preamble. Following this, the opening session of the workshop was conducted by CIRC team members Saba and Navdeep who led the ‘Rope Game’, an interesting ice breaking activity where people introduced themselves and got to know each other. Next was seeking suggestions from the participants to set ground rules to be followed during the workhop. CIRC team member Rohit explained to the participants the vision of CIRC, while Soochna Seva members Shishir and Vahid enlightened them about the Soochna Seva initiative. that the workshop stays engaging and exciting with the help of unique energizing activities. Participants also shared their hopes, expectations and fears within the workshop. Participants at the workshop hail from different parts of the country, including Rajasthan, Maharashra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal
