Owing to the constant endevours made by Digital Empowerment Foundation through its CIRCs, the marks of Digital India are vividly visible in remotest of remote villages of the country. One such village is Manguraha in West Champaran district of Bihar. Besides digital education imparted to the people of the village, the CIRC location in Manguraha has also launched solar trainings at the centre. It has been envisioned that training in solar would help people from all age-groups enhance their skills and open new livelihood prospects in solar.
CIRC Manguraha is equipped with latest computer systems and digital equipment. Women, children, youth and elderly flock the centre to learn computers as well as gain information of government schemes and services.
Saeed Siddiqui, regional coordinator of Bihar has a strong ambition to link villages to Health centres and hospitals so that villagers too can enjoy benefits of remote diagnosis as well as advice.
