On 14th November, CIRC across the country celebrated Children’s Day with great fervour. Multiple activities, including arts and crafts competitions, sports and games, essay writing, etc. were conducted in which children participated in large number. CIRC Jauhar Academy in Ranchi, Jharkhand conducted a crafts competition, while CIRC Bhairon Bhainin organised a fun-filled sports day. At CIRC Anjaiahnagar, children enjoyed playing dumb-charades and other indoor games. In other places, such as centres in district Betul of Madhya Pradesh, collectively conducted an awareness camp on malnutrition in children. CIRC Halduchaur, on the other hand launched British Council’s English and Digital for Gilr’s Education (EDGE) programmes for adolescent girls. Study kits were distributed among students.
