On 23rd July, DEF celebrated its 7th edition of mBillionth South Asia. Mobile innovators from South Asia, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka participated in the award and showcased their mobile innovations in various fields, such as citizen governance, health and wellbeing, education, business and e-commerce, agriculture and environment, media and entertainment, etc. A CIRC stall was also set up at the award venue where guests were made aware about the CIRC programme. Besides, a ‘Haat India’ stall was set up which showcased products sourced from rural grassroots, including pure ghee and dried mushrooms from district Hoshangabad and Moong Vadi, raw honey and pickle brought straight from Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh.
