The Baank-e-Loom digital cluster centre in Saidanpur of district Barabanki of Uttar Pradesh launched British Council’s English and Digital for Girl’s Education (EDGE) training at their centre. First batch of girl students have already been formed. Chairperson of UPID, Ms Zohra Chatterji, along with Akshai Abraham and his amazing team KHEL conducted a special workshop on menstrual hygiene for women and adolescent girls. They were also distributed reusable cloth sanitary pads, which are economical as well as eco-friendly. Biscuit were distributed amongst children and blankets to senior citizens.
