Phase 2 of Functional Literacy Program has been inaugurated in one of India’s most backward districts- West Champaran in Bihar. The program, an initiative of Digital Empowerment Foundation and @indiaat75 aims to help students bring digital into their daily lives by providing them the necessary training required to go online. Along with West Champaran, it is now active in 11 other districts across 8 states.
In today’s world students are handicapped without digital knowledge and this program aims to bridge the digital divide that has existed for decades but has been accentuated with the pandemic.
