Training sessions on Internet Saathi programme are in full swing in Bihar. One such training session was hel in Mainatand, West Champaran, Bihar. A specialist instructor, from the Help Women Get Online (HWGO) programme trained women on how to use digital devices and access internet. Internet Saathi, a Google and Tata Trusts initiative, in collaboration with Digital Empowerment Foundation, aims to equip women in villages with internet skills and digital devices, so that they can help other women in nearby areas to access internet services and find information on topics that are important to them such as government schemes and health.
