Given the right support, there is nothing in the world a woman cannot achieve. Rinki Bakoriya, age 21, from vil
lage Doudi, district Hoshangabad (MP) gives meaning to this statement. After facing the realities of gender discrimination, all she wanted was to work towards the empowerment of women in her society. When basic knowledge of computers made her feel self-reliant, she was roused to take computer education to other women, too; to transform their lives and help them become equal members of the modern society. Rinki has been an active member of the Narmada Mahila Sangh(NMS) as a Community Data Collector (CDC), besides receiving training on Gender and Gram Sabha through Pradan.
