Story of a carpenter driven by his passion to become digitally literate
There was a time when 33 year old Shobha Devi of Village Bakuliya, Uttarakhand had no knowledge of computers and had never used it before. In fact, fact she was scared to even touch this device. Within a month of joining the basic computer literacy course at CIRC Halduchaur, she learnt how to work with Notepad and use various other softwares in her daily work. Although Shobha’s education is only till standard 5th, today she is amazingly confident as she glides her fingers along the keyboard.
