Under the Digiprayas programme, people in rural areas are learning digital forms of banking and the benefits that come along with it. With an aim to connect underserved communities to affordable and reliable financial tools through mobile phones, and other digital interfaces, it is impacting men and women of different ages. Digiprayas is a joint initiative of DEF and Axis Bank that aims to equip rural communities with financial digital literacy across five states in India. Women gathered to learn digital forms of banking in Allowal, Punjab.
