Babli was living in Bharatpur in Rajasthan with her husband and his family. Due to circumstances, she had to limit her education only till 12th standard. She wanted to study further, but didn’t get permission from her in-laws. However, her husband supported her, and so the couple decided to move to Alwar. Life was not easy as she still could not follow her ambition due to financial difficulties. The couple had to take up laborious jobs in order to make ends meets. When Babli came to know about CIRC Mungaska, a centre located close to Alwar city, she got herself enrolled in its Basic Computer Literacy course. She learnt how to work on various computer programmes including MS Office and to make use of the internet for different activities. Later, she joined Manzil English Speaking course offered at the CIRC. This not only helped Babli to enhance her English communication skills but also boosted her confidence. Today, Babli works as a receptionist. Her job also involves billing and record keeping for which she likes to use computer. Her in-laws who in the past did not allow her for further education now take pride in their daughter-in-law.
