Bali is an ancient town in Pali district of Rajasthan. As of 2011 India census, Bali had a population of 19,880. Male constitute 50.67% of the population and females 49.33%. Hinduism, Islam, Jainism are the main religions of Bali. In remote villages the residents are very poor and most villages lack education, access to clean water and even electricity. Due to the lack of jobs and opportunities, men from the villages must leave to find jobs in the tourism sector. In the resort towns, rural migrant workers still earn very little and live in poverty. Primary schools in the villages are in very bad condition.
To improve the education level and awareness in people; DEF, Delhi has planned to establish CIRC in Bali.
