World Telecommunications Day Celebrations
On 24th May 2016, CIRC Shamsabad in District Farukkhabad of Uttar Pradesh conducted a water conservation rally, with support of Sadhbhawana Manch, a local social work group. The rally began from a Junior High School, and as it proceeded further, people from the community along with town representatives kept joining in the awareness walk. Slogan-calling and placards were used as the main tool to spread awareness on saving water, for today and for the future generations. People finally gathered at a school campus where they expressed their thoughts and ideas on water conservation. The rally also garnered press coverage in local dailies.
