Kishanganj is situated in Aravalli mountain range in Baran, Rajasthan. It has 6500 population count speaking Hindi and Rajasthani languages. Apart from a small number of better –off communities, the inhabitants of kishanganj block are economically impoverished and socially reclusive. More than 47% of the population consists of SC and ST class who live in deeper poverty than the rest. The literacy rate of rural Kishanganj was only 52.88%. Deprived of educational opportunities, women show a literacy rate of only 35.83%. Unemployment is largely spread in this village, most of the people are migrating for job and other necessities.
