This week, CIRC Pondicherry collaborated with Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences and conducted a free Medical Camp at the centre. Over 50 women and children were provided free checkup and median. 20 cases were identified for further treatment at the PIMS Hospital, free of cost. The centre plans to begin more such health camps in the coming times.
Besides this initiative, CIRC Pondicherry has also begun tailoring classes at the centre. Women and girls from the neighbouring locations have already started to visit the centre to become part of these classes.
