DEF, in partnership with Axis Bank, aims to digitise far off villages in India, to equip the local communities with digital and financial literacy. In Andhra Pradesh, community meetings and awareness programs have begun, with the local team members of the project. In Satyawada, a meeting was organised with the youth of the community to teach them how to install and use mobile banking apps. Under this initiative, twelve panchayats across five states will be provided financial and digital literacy through a variety of different approaches, and activities.
